Starting next Monday the city of Vilnius will host the International ContemporaryDance Festival “Naujasis Baltijosšokis” (New Baltic Dance). Scheduled to run form 6 – 12 May, the festival will be a multi-venue event will also feature a contemporary video dance competition.
The schedule of events for this festival will be spread across several venues in Vilnius including; the Lithuanian National Drama, Lithuanian National DramaTheatre, Arts Printing House,and Contemporary Art Centre there. Performances by artists from around the world will begin with Junior Ballet du Conservatoire de Paris (France) at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, and end with Kill the Victor (15’) Choreographer Amos Ben-Tal (Israel/Netherlands) at the Arts Printing House on the final day.
