This year’s 18th edition of the Ukraine International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (UITT) is set to be bigger than ever thanks to the inclusion of a number of new participants.
UITT is the biggest exhibition of its kind in the Ukraine
Organizers of the event are delighted to welcome representatives from Catalunya, the Fujairah Tourism Authority, Romania, Serbia and Tenerife, all of whom are first-time participants at what is the largest travel exhibition of its kind in the Ukraine.
UITT is the most important annual travel event in the country, attracting numerous key players from the international travel industry, all eager to promote themselves as a destination and strengthen their Ukrainian market prescience.
Returning once again to the event will be the national tourism boards of the following countries – Bulgaria, Hungary, Georgia, Dominican Republic, Dubai, Egypt, Israel, the Veneto region of Italy, Cyprus, Cuba, Morocco, Slovakia, Slovenia, Thailand, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic and Sri Lanka, underlining the importance these key travel markets place on Ukrainian visitors.
Delegations from more than 50 countries are expected to attend
The representatives view UITT as an important event to develop new international channels, as part of their goal to increase investment and the volume of tourist visitors in their respective countries. Ukraine’s emerging market is viewed as having huge potential, something reflected by the increased attention being paid to it by long haul destinations, which have noted the growing desire among Ukrainians to explore exotic new destinations.
Nevertheless, nearby Montenegro is hoping to be one of the biggest hits for Ukrainian travelers this year – the country’s delegation has doubled the size of its exhibition area, with key exhibitors such as Breeze Line and Natalie Tours taking up much of the extra space.
Altogether, more than 700 tourism companies, tour operators and agencies will be in attendance at the event, which will be held over three days at the at the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) Kiev, from March 28 until March 30.

This was a really interesting post, considering the fact that I am a Ukrainian who lives in Poltava. I and my wife, we have travelled to Turkey, Egypt and Cuba. As you can see, we have not been to any European country and there are very few EU countries in your list. And the reason is a huge amount of requirements that EU countries set for Ukrainian citizens. Therefore, although Montanegro might have doubled the site of their rental space at this years UITT, the best way for them to attract more Ukrainian tourists is by lifting any restrictions. In Ukraine most of people don't work legally, in other words, they don't report the money they make to the tax department. As a result, they don't have a piece of paper to show to an EU embassy that will demonstrate that they have a stable salary. But people do have money! :-)
Thanks for your comments. It's interesting, I see the same thing where I live, in Thailand. Plenty of people here have money but very few pay any tax! Perhaps the west needs to open its eyes a little and see how the rest of the world lives...
