Named the best in-flight food, Turkish Airlines’ cuisine won over 18 other international airlines. Flight comparison site Skyscanner presented a survey that required passengers to rate airline food based on presentation and taste. Turkish Airlines’ menu including dishes like Turkish meatballs, stuffed eggplant, caprese salad, and walnut pear tart, earned the company the first-place score of 86%.
Turkish Airlines offers its passengers gourmet rotating menu options on every flight. The airline also offers various specialty meals including children’s, Kosher, vegetarian and seafood. Meals are prepared with fresh ingredients and for transoceanic flights, are served to passengers via Flying Chefs offering professional support to the cabin crew during meal preparation.
Turkish Airlines also provides special holiday and special occasion menus. For Valentine’s Day the airline provided special treats including chocolates and cupcakes.
