Tune Hotels To Award Exciting Trip Along Silk Road

Tune Hotels will sponsor a winner to explore the ancient Silk Road. Beginning August 5, 2012, and approximately 30 other explorers will begin a month-long four-wheel drive (4×4) expedition spanning over 10,000 kilometres along China’s piece of the Silk Road. The journey begins in Kashgar in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in western China bordering Tajikistan and ends in the Chinese northern city of Tianjin, near Beijing.

Travelers will view 9 sites to experience cultures, scenery and destinations that have been untouched for hundreds and even thousands of years. Expedition members will stay in mountain campsites, Mongolian yurts and hotels.

Details of the “Adventure on the Silk Road” contest on Tune Hotels Facebook page: www.facebook.com/tunehotels. The contest began June 21, 2012 and runs through July 15, 2012. To enter, participants are required to “Like” the Tune Hotels Facebook page and download the specially designed “Adventure on the Silk Road” application at www.facebook.com/tunehotels. Facebook members can then enter by nominating themselves and answering a simple open-ended question on the Silk Road. The entrant can also vote to support their respective country. Participants can better their chances by posting their voting information on their wall or timeline, and inviting friends to participate. When the contest closes, July 15, 2012, and the country with the highest support is determined, the participant with the most creative and original answer from that country will be named winner.
