According to news from Breaking Travel News, TUI’s Toscana Resort Castelfalfi has just opened their first hotel, La Tabaccaia. A three star affair of 32 rooms, the boutique hotel is only the first of three planned for the fabulous Tuscany estate.

Situated in an eight century old Tuscany village, TUI travel has begun rejuvenating what is perhaps one of the region’s most compelling rustic backdrops. Scheduled for four stages of development, Castelfalfi is a luxury property development that will see two more hotels with 120 and 170 rooms each. Purchased back in 2007, the village is one of TUI’s most ambitious projects.
Set within some 1,100 acres of Tuscan countryside, this TUI resort offers golf, various outdoor sports opps, a fitness center, and exclusive apartments, homes, and other private properties. A full fledged village environment is being newly developed and accentuated with restaurants and other amenities. The opening of La Tabaccaia is obviously a milestone for TUI.
