Paris in November: Illusions, Humor, and Beautiful Stays

Paris is one of the handful of places in the world that needs nothing by way of introduction. However, events and wonderful places do change. To that end, we present a famous French humor-illusionist, Eric Antoine along with pretty little boutique places to stay for his shows.

What exactly is a humor-illusionist? A comedian that does magic and laughs, that’s what. A huge hit in France, this talented magician slash funny man is currently performing his second show, Mysteric. The show combines performance, humour, magic, conjuring tricks, dance, music, poetry, and let’s not forget Antoine’s pal the invisible assistant Bernard. Okay, if you are a great magician, you are allowed your version of Harvey the rabbit.

The new performances are scheduled for from November 24 2012 to November 25 at the majestic Olympia Hall. So, for convenience and a chic night or two in the city of lights, we suggest the following hotels which are no illusion nearby.

Keppler

Executive room at Keppler

A bit over a kilometer from the hall, Hotel Keppler is a superb boutique affair you can tell is as luxurious as it is convenient to all things central Paris. Boutique four star stays are, as some may have guess, the way to stay in this fantastic city. For the 3 nights surrounding the Antoine shows, Keppler can be had for less than €1000. The images show the value, but the amenities lists concretes them.

Free Wifi, a fitness center, chic dining and cocktails, sauna, balconies and terraces, and the puffiest pillows in Paris, you examine for yourself, and map it.

Only 20 rooms though, ensures you had better book now to be situated in four star luxury, down the street from the real magic. Actually the real magic is just being in this part of Paris, more on that later. 3 nights here go for about €540.

Say hello to Art Nouveau and a touch of modern elegance. All the rooms of this hotels offer the crisp feel of fine materials and Earthy color coordination. As you can see from the image, Hotel Le Péra whispers “clean, please touch me”. Comfort is accentuated.

The lounge with its chimney - Winter warming a must

Only two rooms are left for the nights suggested. Costing somewhere around €630 for a comparable room to the other selections, makes this hotels a pretty easy selection, or at least a great choice. Amenities include all those usual four star suspects, but breakfast in bed is appealing for me. Map this fantastic boutique stay, and save the difference on transit fares perhaps. The guest suite below is welcoming, isn’t it?
