Tallinn to Host Tourest 2017 International Travel Trade Fair

Tourest will take place on February 10-12, 2017

The international travel trade fair Tourest celebrates its 26th edition this year. It takes place at the Estonian Fairs Centre in February, from 10 until 12.

Founded in 1991, Tourest is the largest and oldest event of its kind in the Baltic countries. It is organized by the Estonian Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ETFL). In 2016, the fair recorded 521 exhibitors from 22 countries and over 25000 attendants. The Estonian Fairs Centre is the ideal venue to host the growing event, as it boasts 8000 m² of exhibition space over three exhibition halls, that will each cover a different aspect of the fair.

Tourest 2017 encompasses a broad range of topics, including accommodation, active tourism, culinary travel, cultural events, family trips, medical tourism, rural tourism, senior traveling, wellness and spas, travel services, travel bloggers, and so much more

The Main Hall of the fair is the place to find Estonian and international tour operators, travel agencies, transportation and insurance companies, educational institutions, hotels, leisure companies, and more. Estonian tourism and attractions are covered by exhibitors in the Experience Estonia hall. Finally, the third hall invites you to Taste Estonia, with a selection of Estonian treats. Children will enjoy Tourfest too, as the organizers designed a play area with games and activities. This is located in the third hall, Taste Estonia.

One of the highlights at Tourest 2017 is the Travellers’ Club, which offers an inspirational program of different travel destinations.

The fair is free to attend if you download and print the Tourest 2017 invitation (*pdf). Otherwise, you will have to pay 3€ per person, in cash, at the exhibition.

The Estonian Fairs Centre (Eesti Näituste AS) enjoys a strategic location, on a picturesque shore of the Gulf of Finland, only 10 minutes from the city centre, close to attractions like the Kadriorg Palace and Art Museum, Maarjamäe Tallihoone (which is currently closed until the centenary of the Republic of Estonia in 2018), and the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds (Tallinna Lauluväljak).
