Complimentary iPads have become more or less standard as far as luxury hotel rooms go, but how about ‘tablet walls’ for a hi-tech hotel experience?
That’s exactly what Spain’s Serrano Brothers have proposed with their newest, most futuristic hotel room design yet, the “ITH Room Experience”. The concept showcases a model hotel room that literally comes alive at the ‘touch’ of a smartphone. The walls of the hotel are made almost completely out of Microsoft Surface tablets, multiple touchscreens and interactive surfaces that can be controlled via a smartphone or by touch, giving guests the most immersive hotel room entertainment experience ever conceived.
We’ve seen some pretty interesting architectural concepts for hotels in our time, but this idea is unique in that the innovations actually enhance the functionality of the room, as well as its visual appeal.
