Around The World in 3 Minutes With GQ trippin

In their quest to check out 30 must-see travel destinations before they reach the grand old age of thirty, travelling couple Gerard & Kieu stopped by twenty different countries in an epic 312-day journey, stretching more than 67,000 miles across the globe as they embarked on the adventure of a lifetime.

 

During their travels, the couple picked up an enormous following on their GQ trippin blog as they documented their experiences in places as diverse as Thailand, India, Austria and New York. And while the couple doesn’t profess to be vloggers, that didn’t stop them racking up more than 11 hours of video footage from their adventures.

Following what must have been an epic video editing session, the couple reduced this footage to just three minutes as seen in the following video below.

The couple writes in their blog that they simply shot the video at random, and only hit upon the idea of condensing their trip when they got home:

“We never claim to be vloggers, which is probably why you hardly saw any videos from our travels last year,” says Gerard & Kieu.

“Most are short clips of random things that don’t really make sense on their own, so we didn’t bother sharing.”

Clearly it must have taken an enormous amount of editing, but we’re delighted that they’ve done so and chosen to share this. For if ever one needed an inspiration to get out there and see the world, this surely has to be it – enjoy!
