The Peninsula Paris Reopens After Four Years of Renovations

The iconic The Peninsula Paris, a joint venture between Katara Hospitality and The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, went through an extensive restoration and renovation phase, which kept the hotel closed for no less than four years. The hotel reopened last Saturday, welcoming its first guests with no less than 200 luxurious rooms and suites, all decorated with elegant furnishings, which rival some of the most exclusive hotels of the world.

The Peninsula Paris is a destination in its own right. With no less than six restaurants and bars, the hotel ads to the already world-famous culinary scene of the city a boost of style. The inviting fine dining venues welcome the high society with sophisticated international menus. The Kléber Terrace, Paris’ largest enclosed terrace, serves authentic Cantonese dishes, inspired by tradition, but refined and recreated for discerning contemporary diners.

With direct access to La Terrasse Kléber, Lili creates the posh environment for VIP dining, serving exquisite Chinese fare. The extravagant, luxurious interior, features marble columns, midnight blue walls and chandeliers, and a dome inspired by the sound stage of a hall in Shanghai.

But the most sophisticated dining experience at The Peninsula is L’Oiseau Blanc, located on the sixth floor of the hotel and offering 360° views over Paris’ most iconic landmarks. Here, Chef Sidney Redel prepares mouth-watering, conversation-stopping French fare.

The sophisticated Cigar Lounge Kleber is designed for true aficionados.

Beyond dining, The Peninsula also offers an unparalleled wellness experience, at The Peninsula Spa, a 1,800 square meters area of unique beauty, a veritable jewel in the hotel’s crown. With Oriental, Holistic and European-inspired treatments, the spa is an experience you shouldn’t miss.

The reopening of the hotel created 530 full-time jobs, a figure due to increase to 600 by the end of the year.
