Now, Sabre-connected travel agents will have access to the over 3,800 properties in 72 countries where Marriott operates. David Gross, senior vice president, Sabre Global Supplier Commerce, had this to say about the deal:
“Marriott is a leader in the hospitality industry. We believe our high-performance technology and exposure to millions of travelers that we provide brings them tremendous value.”
Earlier in the week global hotel solutions provider HRS, announced having added thousands of properties to the Sabre marketplace. That deal meant HRS will now become one of the biggest hotel content providers for Sabre, further ramping up the GDS company’s independent hotel offerings.
