The very first of the brand, Novotel Sofia opened last week. The Accor luxury office – accommodation venue having been in operation for some months.
The 178 room Novotel Sofia offers Class A office space of some 7,500 sq.m., and guest rooms up to the top level on floor 15. The four star hotels is the first Accor hotel in Bulgaria’s capital. Vincent Dujardin, General Manager of Novotel Sofia, told Novinite and other reporters:
“For the past almost four months the hotel has been providing excellent service both for guests and corporate clients, and I am convinced that we will attract even more interest with our unique concept of being innovative and modern.”
Despite Accor’s ongoing restructuring, the company is apparently seeing through plans to grow in the all important Eastern Europe market. The mid-scale hotels like Novotel Sofia, being particularly important for not only Accor Group, but competitors like Marriott and others.
