Nordic Choice Names Malin Lanner Shared Services Head

Nordic Choice Hotels has just announced having named former hotel manager Malin Lanner as Head of Shared Services. With ambitions to optimized central services across the Nordic Choice properties, Lanner will be tasked with developing and managing operating supplies and hotel opening teams. 

Nominated back in 2013 for General Manager of the Year, Lanner began her hotel career as a management trainee at Nordic Choice Hotels in 2005, and has since been General Manager of Collection Hotel With Tromso Clarion Collection Hotel Temperance in Malmo and Clarion Collection Hotel Tapto in Stockholm. Of her appointment, Lanner had this to say:

“With a background in hotel management, I have both insight and experience with the hotels’ needs. Not least, I am genuinely interested in solving important problems that the hotels meet in daily operations. My main focus will be to ensure the quality of the services out to hotels, so that all hotel employees have the best conditions for creating great guest experiences.”

Nordic Choice now has five hotel chains and ten independent brands totalling some 170 hotels across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Lanner will join the management team of Vice President of Nordic Choice, Bjørn Arild Wisth.
