Myconian Kyma Opens May 1st

Coming May 1 2017, Myconian Kyma is a new Design Hotels masterpiece on the island of Mykonos. The 52-room, 29-suite property is a luxurious and secluded retreat, just steps from Mykonos Town.

Myconian Kyma is a fabulous hotel that incorporates the best aspects of chic business digs and personalized family hotels. Sitting atop a hill overlooking the island’s iconic windmills and fishing boats, the luxurious property will offer visitors the definitive Greek experience. The property takes its name from the Greek word for ‘wave’, which serves as the motif throughout the hotel. To quote Design Hotels’ literature:

“Myconian Kyma is a masterful expression of true “filoxenia”, the Greek concept of hospitality.”

From the curved lines of the multi-level infinity pool, to the design and furniture seen throughout the whitewashed structures, the gentle Aegean wave motion reverberates. A throwback to the ’60s and that glamor era in many ways, the accommodations are sumptuous. Guests of Myconian Kyma can expect lush gardens, private pools or terraces, a world-class steakhouse, and a full-service spa, just to name a few amenities.

Myconian Kyma is a short walk to the city’s high-end boutiques, the Aegean Maritime Museum and the Folklore Museum, the island’s multiple perfect sand beaches are only minutes away by car.
