Slovenia’s winter sports gem in the Julian Alps, Kranjska Gora is one of the most popular ski resorts in Eastern Europe, host of the Alpine skiing World Cup Vitranc Cup (featured below) for slalom and giant slalom every winter, and a great place to be for snowboarders as well.

Aside the children ski park on site, and a ski school, the resort also offers has 30 km of ski slopes, 40 km tracks for Cross country skiing and Snow Fun park for snowboarders. Ski slopes in Kranjska Gora are perfect for beginners, while experts are advised to ski at Podkoren 1.
