Karlo Damijanić – Croatia’s World Class Bartender

Karlo Damijanić from Pula, Croatia took fourth place in the recent World Bartender Championships in Singapore. Taking part in the “flair category,” the 23 drink juggler extraordinary gave gave a superb stage performance, taking Croatia to the World Cup for the first time ever. Karlo is aiming even higher for next year’s competition.

For 7 years Karlo has honed his skills daily, working the crowds at his own caffe-bar in Pula. And if you think this competition wasn’t important to Karlo, he practiced in Singapore for three months prior to the competition. Bartenders from 53 countries competed with the top prize going to a contestant from Uruguay. Second spot went to world famous bartender Juan Pablo Santiago.
