Hyatt Place Opens Second Hotel in Mexico

A second Hyatt Place opened in Mexico, in Baja California Sur. The hotel, officially Hyatt Place La Paz graces an exclusive area of Costa Baja in La Paz, located minutes from the historic downtown and the Malecón.

Hyatt Place La Paz offers travelers easy access to Balandra Beach and El Tecolote Beach, as well as to other local attractions, including The Shoppes at La Paz and Espiritu Santo Island. The first Gary Player designed golf course in all of Mexico, Costa Baja Golf, is within easy reach as well. Other activities in the resort include whale watching, and swimming with whale sharks in the waters of the Bay of La Paz.

The hotel features spacious guestrooms with plush Hyatt Grand beds, elegant and comfortable Cozy Corner, free Wi-Fi Internet access, and complimentary hot buffet breakfast served daily in the Gallery Kitchen. All the 151 rooms available at Hyatt Place La Paz offer scenic views of the marina or the Sea of Cortez.

For fitness junkies, there’s a 24-hour Stay Fit Gym and an outdoor pool to splash around if you don’t want to go to the beach. The hotel’s 24/7 Gallery Market sells fresh sandwiches and salads, home baked pastries and other treats. The Gallery Menu is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week too. Last, but not least, for business travelers, the 2,691 square feet event space is divided into three spacious meeting rooms equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet.

Hyatt Place La Paz is the second hotel opened in Mexico, after Hyatt Place Los Cabos. The group announced additional Hyatt Place hotels in Mexico, including Tijuana, Baja California; and Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.
