HotelTonight Now Offers Multi-Night Stays

If you are a traveler and have an iPhone, you probably already have the HotelTonight app that has achieved 250,000 downloads in its first two months.  The app now has a new feature offering extended-day options to users.

HotelTonight is a free last-second hotel booking app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.  Users who download the app also receive a $25 credit toward their first booking.  With the new feature, users can extend their stay at their hotels for up to four additional nights, making the total stay five nights.

According to the makers of the app, travelers can go through the entire booking process in under ten seconds and with only four taps.  The new extended stay feature is also just a few of taps away and can turn a last-minute hotel room into a business week stay.

Mobile bookings are growing in popularity, and HotelTonight has partnered with over 130 hotels to offer their last-minute bookings at lower rates.  Some of the notable hotels include Thompson Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, Amalfi Hotel in Chicago, Pelican Hotel in Miami, and Hotel 1000 in Seattle.  The company plans to add new cities each month, the next of which will be Dalla, Philadelphia, and Atlanta.

“We are thrilled with the response we’ve gotten from travelers and hotels so far,” said HotelTonight Founder and CEO Sam Shank. “The vast majority of our bookings are driven by word of mouth, and we are seeing a high number of repeat purchases — which indicates not only strong growth, but a revolution in how people book hotels.”

The HotelTonight app is available in the Apple iTunes App Store for no cost.  For more information about the app and the company, visit hoteltonight.com
