Hotel Yearbook 2036: The Future of Now Hotels

Last week the Hotel Yearbook 2036 was release for free download. The magazine, published by Wade & Co., is an annual consolidation of advice and insights from hotel experts. However, this year’s industry magazine offers a futuristic take, with insights on the future of the hotel industry.

Rather than a typical near term focus on industry fortunes, the new Hotel Yearbook issue takes a big leap forward, attempting to envision what will be “ground breaking” hotel business two decades from now. Award winning author Woody Wade, had this to say via Hospitalitynet.org:

“This new edition is like no other book ever published about the hotel industry. By pretending that we are already in the future, and letting a number of movers and shakers from the year 2036 tell the story ‘in their own words’, the reader gets some eye-opening insights about how the hotel business might evolve over the next 20 years.”

So, the reader gets a view looking back at today’s cutting edge hotel innovations and business, from the vantage point of 2036. The effect of this imaginative retrospective is what the CEO of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), Frank Wolfe called:

“Looking ‘back’ from the vantage point of the year 2036, this book is able to posit some fascinating ideas about how the world, and the industry, might develop. It’s fiction – but plausible. And entertaining, too.”

Michael Levie, COO of citizenM Hotels, added his take on the new yearbook, noting that; “Twenty years ago, the dictionary didn’t include ‘OTA’; WiFi connectivity was just a discussion; phones were merely for talking.” True enough, 20 years before television people had trouble imagining watching a movie in their own homes.

Interested readers may download The Hotel Yearbook 2036 for free, exclusively via HFTP’s  PineappleSearch.com.
