“Families are recognising that owning a caravan holiday home by the seaside is an affordable way of having a holiday retreat as they can purchase a pre-owned caravan starting at just £10,995,” explained Stephen Twiss from Haven.

The visitors of this event had the chance to experience first hand a bit of park life. The company presented its latest models from Willerby, Swift and ABI and also send a therapist to do some hand massages. There was some face painting also and company’s representatives answered all the questions participants had in regards to buying their own holiday home.

“We’ve had a lot of couples looking at trading in their touring caravan. Many have grandchildren now and they can see the advantages of all the facilities and kids clubs,” said Elaine Ellis who will attend the show on behalf of Haven said. “It’s not just about them it’s a place where all the family can get together.”

Haven also announced that it received approval under the new NCC Approved Holiday Park – Holiday Home Ownership scheme. This means that customers can have a higher trust in the company’s services, as in order to be approved in this scheme, companies undergo a rigorous selection and analysis process which assess if that company offers services compliant with the standard Code of Practice in the field. Only the companies who meet this Code’s standards are approved.

Speaking prices, Haven announced that site fees vary between £2,950 and £7,500 per year (depending on location). This sum includes maintenance, 24 hour security and exclusive park facilities. Moreover, owners can cover some or all of these costs by letting their caravan. Haven can also manage the letting for the clients who choose to let their caravan.

Holiday homes have prices ranging from £10,995 to over £100,000, depending on various factors such as the park chosen location in it, holiday home’s model and whether it is new or pre-owned.
