Greek Firm to Develop in Dion Area

In still more development news from Athens, HTP Co. Announces another International Public Tender Process, this one concerning camping in Skotina Pierias. In accordance with the Decision of its Board of Directors on 14th December 2010, HTP Co. calls an International Public Tender Process in two phases, via a negotiation following pre-qualification procedure, seeking the operation and development of the «Scala Skotina Pierias» Estate, through a long-term lease contract of sixty (60) years.

This Estate is situated in the municipality of Dion-Olympus, 30 km from the town of Katerini, by the 100th km of the Thessaloniki-Athens National Road. It is a seashore plot of 427.215 sq.m. (42,7 hectares), with a shoreline of approximately 750m. (820y), in a location of outstanding natural beauty. The Estate contains camping infrastructure.

HTP Co’s primary aim is the development of hotel infrastructure, of minimum four-star classification and 250 bed capacity, and possibly of further supporting infrastructure and exploitations (water sports facilities, convention center, camping site, thalassotherapy spa, etc).

For this purpose, HTP Co’s addresses Greek and Foreign legal entities, or unions or consortia of Greek and/or foreign legal entities or natural and legal entities. Interested parties must be Hotel Operators, with proven experience and ability. In the case of unions or consortia, the above criterion must be met by at least one member of the scheme.

The application and dossier of Expression of Non-Binding Interest must be submitted at the Protocol Office of the Company on Thursday 17th February, 2011 between 9a.m. and 12p.m. Their opening by the Tender Committee will take place at 12.30 p.m. on the same day. The session will be open to the legal representatives of participating parties.
