Grace Hotels – Echoes of Great Greek Getaways

Today’s hotel spotlight is on the newest of the new Greek getaway possible, a Grace Hotel that has yet to open. Being developed on the Isle Kea, known locally as Tzia, the Grace Kea Hotel and Residences will be a boutique paradise affair quite unlike any other. Slated for 32 rooms, separate private residences and two restaurants, this Island accommodation promises to be a new breed of elegance. Let’s look at what we can expect.

Both the hotel and the spacious, secluded villas adjacent will enjoy private pools and terraces, as well as Grace’s distinctive brand of architecture excellence, to say nothing of the fabulous views. The image below of the all new Grace Santorini Villa, may well project what future guests of Grace on Kea might expect.

Grace Santorini - another Grace Hotels stay in Greece

For those unfamiliar with the Cyclades, these ancient Islands possess a perfect arid climate for spa getaways particularly. Once a Bronze Age settlement, Kea was at his zenith just about the time the Minoans reached their apex of power. Home of the lyric poet Simonides, this magical place somehow became overshadowed by other Aegean and Mediterranean  Isles. Until recently, that is. The slideshow below of Images by Paul Williams’ wonderful images shows off just a tiny bit of the charm of this amazing Island.

Now that you are interested, Grace Hotels has a reputation for luxurious hospitality the world over – and this new contingent bespeaks of even more guest splendor. Each room at the hotel will have its own private swimming pool, panoramic views of this fantastic Island, and there will be 17 + fully self contained villas for sale too, each with the aforementioned private pool and terrace as well. These Grace managed villas extend the natural appeal of this getaway Island with Grace’s legendary guest services and ensuring owner investment potential. And lest we forget,  Grace is also widely known for fine dining and other guest amenities.

The development, situated on Kastellakia Bay to the West, is fairly remotely tucked into this wonderful secluded bay. I spoke a few moments ago with Grace’s Athens offices about the development. Currently under construction, there are no images of the building site. However, another development, Kastellakia Bay Villas I could not confirm may be part of the new hotel complex, does have some wonderful images of this bay.

As you can tell, the Grace Kea Villas will be situated amid some of the most unspoiled Island terrain anywhere. Grace’s other hotels in Greece, Grace Santorini and Grace Mykonos reflect the best the Greek Isles have to offer. We can only assume the new hotel will be as “Greek” in service and atmosphere.

Grace Villa floor plan - this is the Santorini, will Kea follow?

Grace’s spokespersons just informed us about their latest offering on Santorini, the ultra exclusive two bedroom, 400 sq m Villa at Grace Santorini (image top and floor plan above). While the far off opening of Grace Kea prevents us from sharing further info there, this wonderful luxury experience on Santorini is news in itself.

This Santorini Villa, we can only wonder, seems an appropriate design for the suggested villas or even residences at Grace Kea, but of course we do not have the design specs or information as of this writing.

Scheduled to open sometimes in 2014, the Grace Kea Hotel is the newest destination we could bring to readers. If you are planning a trip to Greece of anywhere in Eastern Mediterranean in 2014, a look at this interesting vacation destination might be in order. As you can see from what images we have, if the views are anything like the ones from the villas currently situated on the bay… Wow.

For more info on this new, and on current Grace Hotels properties in Greece and around the world, please visit their website of contact them via Facebook. Now that’s about as exclusive and early a hotel report as you will ever read. Look for Grace Kea coming soon!
