GBTA Announces “Travel Value Chain” Panel

Today, the Global Business Travel Association (GTBA) announced a new Travel Value Chain panel comprised of noted industry CEO’s at major travel providers. The future of not only business travel, but the industry as a whole can benefit from such high level forums.

Included on the new panel, aimed at discussing “the future of the business travel industry amidst a slow economic recovery, are; Expedia CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, Thorsten Kirschke (below), COO of Carlson Hotels and president of Carlson Hotels, Americas; and Gordon Wilson (above), president and CEO of Travelport GDS, along with moderator Trip Davis, co-founder and Chairman, TRX and president of the Darden School Foundation at the University of Virginia.

Scheduled to take place August 23rd – 24th at the 2011 GBTA Convention in Denver, Colorado, the discussion will reportedly be a “no holds barred” exchange between some of the industry’s most dynamic and influential players. Topics from shifts in industry focus, to assured profitability will be discussed.

Sponsored by BMO Financial Group,  this jam session of industry movers and shakers is but one of GBTA’s industry changing events throughout the year. For those unfamiliar, the GBTA Convention is the largest and most comprehensive business travel gathering in the world.
