Worlds Blooming at Flora Bratislava 2012

Bratislava is getting ready to celebrate 33 years of blossoms and fragrances at the International flower fair Flora Bratislava 2012, this 26th – 29th April. Last year, over 50 000 people enjoyed the colorful worlds brought in by over 185 indigenous and foreign exhibitors. 2012 will hopefully bring more attendees.

There’s certainly a lot to do in the beautiful Slovakian capital – Flora Bratislava 2012 is just one of those “must see” events if you happen to be around at the end of April. A perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a day out, the ideal occasion for romantics and artists to admire the beauty of those little things that make life such a joyful experience.

Skilled florists from around the world will demonstrate various Christmas and Easter flora arrangements, traditional and cascading bouquets, pomander bouquets, ikebana, garlands and more. There will be competitions, arranging and bunching shows, seminars, lectures, and even a gala affair for exhibitors. Visitors will enjoy learning about different gardening styles around the world, as well as gardening tools, potting soils, fertilization of plants, small mechanization, machinery and equipment, dried and artificial flowers, landscape, ceramic, fountains, plastic materials, package technology, garden buildings, furniture, greenhouses and much more.
