Bucharest Classic Car Show 2011

For the second year in a row, Bucharest will host the Bucharest Classic Car Show, an event organized by World Trade Center Bucharest, and the Retromobil Club of Romania. The event will be held June 9-12, 2011, at WTC Bucharest. In addition to the exhibition, the WTC Bucharest will also be the starting point for the Classic Interbalcanic Rally 2011, which will take place June 10-12, 2011.

The second edition of the Bucharest Classic Car show will continue this year in a larger format, featuring even more events and exhibits compared to the 2010 first edition.

Visitors will be able to buy or sell classic vehicles on site, and also to admire a number of rare automobiles of domestic and foreign production. The organizers are trying to target a younger demographic as well, with a number of car-related products and services at promotional prices.

The show will bring together almost all vintage car clubs in the country, and exhibit more than 50 classic automobiles that are still in use in Romania. The exhibition will feature the cars’ technical and cultural values, as well as their commercial values. Some of the vehicles will be available for rent for film productions, and special events. Other sections of the exhibition include collector items, accessories and models, including Ford T Speedster-1912, Ford-A 1928, Plymouth 1938, Buick Century 8 -1938, Aero-1936, and Mercedes 230-1940.
