Bucharest City Tour Route Launched

Bucharest didn’t have a city tour bus route to take tourists to its main landmarks. But today, the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism has inaugurated a special city tour program, with a route that crosses the main points of interest in the capital.

For the beginning, there will be only four buses on the route, all marked with the logo of the national tourism brand, in an effort to increase awareness of Romania as a tourist destination.

There are high hopes for this project, that should attract more tourists to the capital.

I am confident that this project will be successful, and hope that these tours will increase the appeal of the capital, and Bucharest will regain its rightful place among the most visited European capitals, - said Elena Udrea, Minister of Regional Development and Tourism, in a press statement.
