The Beer Festival and Knuckle Parade in Békéscsaba may not have a long tradition, but it is a popular attraction in Hungary, nevertheless. Békéscsaba lies along the southeastern border of Hungary, about 200 kilometers from Budapest. It is one of the most scenic cities in Hungary, an oasis of green, with lush parks, beautiful promenades, and noteworthy architecture. The Beer Festival and Knuckle Parade in Csaba will take place 9 to 13 June, 2011.

The festival has been organized since 2001, as an opportunity for local breweries to showcase their latest beers, as well as to sell their most popular brands. Since 2001, the Beer Festival and Knuckle Parade in Csaba is one of the main touristic attractions in the region. Aside excellent Hungarian beers, visitors have the chance to sample traditional cuisine, and see cooking demonstrations by master chefs from the Gastronomic Team in Békés County, who will be preparing knuckle stew and knuckle dishes over an open fire.
