Beat the Summer Heat at Galaxy Hotel Iraklio

Newly renovated for the current season, Heraklion’s five-star Galaxy Hotel Iraklio invites visitors to beat the summer heat at its pool, the largest one in the capital city of Crete. 

All summer long non-resident guests have been invited to take a dive in the pool between 10 am and 6 pm. For those keen to take a dip in the magnificent pool, the entrance fees are €10 euros on weekdays and €15 euros from Friday to Sunday.

All pool visitors can sit by the pool and get towels, bottled water, and other refreshing offers throughout the hot summer days. The hotel also offers discounts on food orders, free wi-fi and free use of the changing room and showers.

Galaxy Hotel Iraklio includes 127 rooms and suites, two gourmet restaurants, a gym and a hammam, state of the art conference facilities and a business center.

Situated on a hill overlooking Heraklion, this classy hotel a 15-minute hike from the city’s main Eleftherias Square, and just steps from some of the city’s best eating and drinking spots.  Double rooms from €75 (£65) in low season; rising to €150 (£129) in high season.
