In news cultural news from Belarus, the city of Mogilev will play host for the nationwide festival Asalodki-2012. This blend of confectionery business combined with vocal, dance and even circus. Confectioneries are scheduled to organize a fair downtown to treat locals and visitors.

Beginning 8 September, the festival organized by Belarus’ major confectionery factories, Kommunarka and Spartak, is also supported by the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and Mogilev City Council. The afternoon events will include a concert and family holiday Soufflй starring feature Junior Eurovision and Junior New Wave Song Contests stars: Diana Tsekhanovich, Aleksandra Nekhai, Kristina Svetlichnaya, Yelena Gryaznova, Daniil Kozlov, Lidia Zablotskaya, Kirill Yermakov and many others.
Another concert in the evening, “Energy of New Generation”, will conclude the festivities. But the real stars of the show will of course be the vast array of candies from Russia, Belarus and Lithuania. Also stars from these countries are on hand to get visitors in the spirit if childhood candy dreams too. Alen Hit, Sky Tie band and soloist Egor Volchek, Georgy Koldun, Uzari, and Lithania’s entry for Junior Eurovision Bartas, will also perform.
