For the first time ever, airBaltic has launched an Amsterdam – Tallinn route establishing direct links to all three Baltic capitals connecting the Dutch capital.

Starting March 27th, airBaltic will offer flights from Tallinn to Amsterdam 7 times each week aboard its Boeing 737-500 aircraft. According to the airline, one way ticket prices start at only €89 euro. SVP of Network Management airBaltic, Wolfgang Reuss, told reporters:
“With the opening of our new route, airBaltic now offers the best service from Amsterdam to the Baltic region. We operate up to four flights daily from Amsterdam to Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn, and we are delighted to offer this vital connectivity for our business and leisure customers.”
Earlier this week, Latvian Transport Minister Uldis Augulis told reporters of German businessman Ralf Dieter Montag-Girmes, the investor in Latvia’s national carrier airBaltic, promising a EUR 52 million investment in the airline.
airBaltic, founded in 1995, so far is 99.8% owned by the Latvian state and serves direct flights to about 60 destinations from its home base in Riga.
