Aeroflot signs up for Travelport Rich Content and Branding

Leading travel commerce platform, Travelport has just announced that Aeroflot – Russian Airlines has signed up for Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding solution. The largest Russian airline, Aeroflot is now the first in Russia and across the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) to take advantage of Travelport’s innovative new offering.

 

This latest component of the innovative technology company, Travelport Merchandising Platform. empowers companies with rich content, branding, and gives great flexibility for airlines to bridge the gulf between travelers and travel agents. The product allows Aeroflot and other to manage their flights, fare families and ancillaries, like no comparable platform anywhere, all presented across travel agency screens.

Sixty plus airlines have already signed up to use the groundbreaking technology, and now Aeroflot takes the lead across the CIS. Robin Ranken, Travelport’s Head of Airline Services Europe, had this to add:

The Travelport Merchandising Platform was launched back  in April 2013. The platoform has since won the Best Travel Technology Innovation award for its Travelport Merchandising Platform at the 2014 AFTA National Travel Industry Awards.
