Tailor Made Travel, a division of Acromas Holidays, has officially closed up shop and will take no more bookings.
A statement on the former long haul travel company’s website now reads in part:
“Tailor Made Travel, a division of Acromas Holidays, will not be taking any new bookings from 9th May 2013. All existing bookings will be operated as normal by a dedicated team of Tailor Made Travel staff, and remain protected under the Acromas Holidays ATOL certificate.”
The company which specialized in unique holidays to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, was purchased by Acromas back in 2009. Acromas also operates AA Gateways and other travel entities, and is a part of the overall Saga, AA and Acromas group of companies.
