Study Shows Europe Travel B2C Uptrend

Just released, the “Europe B2C E-Commerce Report 2012” reveals the sector commercial trends in Europe . Performed by Hamburg-based research company yStats.com, the report encompasses data from some 35 countries across the region.

Showing revenue and trend numbers this report also delves into examining the leading online retailers for the countries. One finding, the increase in B2C E-Commerce revenues from 2011 onward, foretells of a 10% growth margin. For online shopping, in particular, the positive trend seems most favorable.

Accordingly, Sweden and Norway show up as the biggest players where Internet penetration occur. For those unfamiliar, the term applies in this case to shoppers buying online across borders. B2C E-Commerce growth in some countries such as Austria and Switzerland were actually somewhat stagnant according tothe report, but rapid growth in Germany and other countries more than offsets any negatives.

Other key metrics include; Group shopping via coupon sites for Eastern Europe, mobile shopping in Scandinavia, and popular accommodation shopping trends in Western Europe, among many other sub-categories. The full 177 page report is available for purchase here.
