Ryanair Announces First Flights To Jordan

Europe’s low-cost champion airline, Ryanair has just announced a new connection from Athens to Aqaba in Jordan. According to the news, flights to Aqaba will depart twice per week during the Winter of 2018.

Ryanair says the new route from Athens will be available for sale in the Ryanair.com at the end of the month and the Greek passengers and visitors will benefit from even lower fares and the most recent innovations of the program ‘Always Getting Better’, which includes lower values in the checked baggage, Ryanair Rooms with Travel Credit, flights connecting through Rome, Milan and Porto, and the Ryanair Transfers. Nikolaos Λάρδης, Sales & Marketing Manager for the East Mediterranean Ryanair had this to add:

“We’re happy to announce this new link between Athens and Άκαμπας in Jordan, the thirty-fourth country where we operate.”

In other news, the company announced these first flights to Jordan with 14 routes in total to Amman and Aqaba airports, which will deliver almost 500,000 customers p.a., as Ryanair expands its operation in the Middle East.  In Jordan, Ryanair’s David O’Brien offered this:

“Ryanair is pleased to announce our entry into the Jordanian market from March 2018, initially with one route from Paphos in Cyprus to Amman commencing in March, and growing to 10 from October, as part of our Winter 2018 schedule. Flights to Aqaba will commence in October with 4 routes, which will deliver almost 500,000 Ryanair customers p.a. at Amman and Aqaba airports.”

Starting with a route to Paphos (Cyprus) in March, Ryanair’s Amman operation will grow to 10 routes from October, as part of its Winter 2018 schedule. Flights to Aqaba will commence in October with 4 routes, and will operate for the winter season.
