Situated amid what once was fishing headquarters Barcelona, the W Hotel has been the subject of many a review. Consider some more W Hotel inside attractions like; the Bliss spa, the Living Room-Lobby, and their Whatever-Whenever Service, and there’s not many more attractive places nor hospitable hospitality on the coast of Spain. Forget about rumors of nudists cramming the private beaches, Barcelona is still a place everyone should visit once, and then be welcomed again and again.
The W Hotel is a near perfect landmark to illustrate not only the modern face of the city, but that sometimes cutting humor residents are famous for. By way of revelation here, some critics of the hotel call it the city’s “bulbous beer belly”, owing to the billowing sail profile. Speaking of full bellies. Guests and visitors will also want to partake of master chef Carles Abellán’s cuisine at his signature restaurant Bravo, among the many other culinary wonders W affords.
Finally, the real marvel in any hotel experience begins and ends in the room or suite. Face it, where you lay your head down, take that breather from all day sightseeing or jet-skiing, your room above it all awaits. The W Hotel is not only an eclectic mix of luxury and chill coolness, but a shiny beacon of resplendence amid the hustle and bustle that is Barcelona. Catalonia, fantastic street musicians, flamenco to die for, Spain on the half shell, the city that surrounds W Hotel is a bit like the hotel itself.
