Uniworld Christens New Brand for Youthful Adventure Seekers

According to news from the Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, the company is creating a new product for Millennials. U BY UNIWORLD, set to launch sales in March 2017 and begin sailings in early 2018.

Designed to target the 18-40-year-old segment, the new program will feature more contemporary style vessels and a more youthful approach to destination stays etc. This story from Travel Weekly tells of Uniworld renovating two of vessels out of its existing fleet to be dedicated to the new U by Uniworld brand. The River Baroness and River Ambassador are being refitted for the Millenial traveler for sales in March 2017 toward sailings that begin in early 2018. Ellen Bettridge, President & CEO of Uniworld had this to say via the company’s press release back in December of 2016:

“U BY UNIWORLD will deliver the same superb quality of authenticity and personalization that the Uniworld brand is celebrated for, while offering a new way for exploratory, younger travelers to experience the pulse of Europe. We are targeting an active traveler between the ages of 18 and 40, with everything from the décor, dining and cocktail service to the land activities thoughtfully curated to appeal to, and meet the needs of, this audience.”

These news U BY UNIWORLD cruises will feature immersive, experiential itineraries, focusing on longer stays in destinations to connect explorers to local experiences and vibrant nightlife scenes. The new theme will allow passengers to get better local experiences through interaction with people and cultures at the various ports of call.
