Turkish Day in London – This Weekend

Coming Saturday to Trafalgar Square, Turkish Day in London – will be held between 12 pm and 8.30 pm. Sponsored by the Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism, the day activities will include performances and cuisine, plus activities for all ages.

The Turkish Day in London will also showcase a rich mix of the traditional and modern  Turkish culture. Appearances by the marching band, folk dance troupes and belly dancers, and Turkey’s 2012 representative Can Bonomo are all scheduled. Traditional Turkish food and sweets such as kebabs, baklava and Turkish ice cream will also be available.
