Turkish Airlines Announces New Flights

Turkish Airlines (THY) has announce the addition of flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, Sabha, Aden and Hurghada to being next month.  Possessing the world’s 7th largest network of flights, THY’s coming Libyan and Egypt connections are a significant added value.

According to the news from THY, flights between Istanbul and Egyptian Sharm el-Sheikh city will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning October 9. Meanwhile, Yemen’s Aden city will connect with Istanbul three days a week starting October 2. Turkish Airlines’ revenue was up by some 40 percent in 2011. Connecting on 150 international and 40 plus domestic routes, the airline touches down in Europe, Asia, Africa, and in the Americas as well.

Just last month THY announced flights to Democratic Republic of Congo’s Kinshasa. Named Best Airline in Europe by Skytrax for 2012, the airline garnered some 18 million votes and won for the second year in a row the coveted award.
