TUI Travel to Promote Montenegro in England

The British market may not be that familiar with Montenegro, but things are about to change. TUI Travel told the media today, at a press conference in Budva, that the company is planning on promoting Montenegro more in England, hoping to attract more than 35,000 from here to Montenegro in the next two years.

One of the main issues, however, remains the shortage of high-class hotels – yet TUI will attempt to bring as many tourists as they can accommodate in already exiting venues. The company also announced that it has a five-year plan to promote Montenegro on the British market, by including destinations here on their standard offerings in the UK.

“We are very glad that TUI will promote Montenegro in the enormous touristic market of the whole Europe. That means that our summer season will last longer and bring additional profit to us,” said Predrag Sekulić, chief of the Ministry of Tourism in Montenegro, in a press declaration cited by Daily News Montenegro.

For those who are not familiar with this little country on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, the most interesting cities to visit are Podgorica — the capital and biggest city; Bečići — a gorgeous seaside resort; Budva — the most popular seaside resort in the country; Cetinje — a cultural treasure; Herceg Novi; and the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kotor and Perast.
