Tripadvisor added three new award subcategories for 2024, including best pet-friendly, sustainable, and wellness hotels, to suit consumer demand and current travel trends.
Pet-Friendly: Our four-legged pals, too, deserve excellent lodgings! Tripadvisor announced the new hotel subcategory in collaboration with CESAR® Canine Cuisine, a member of the Mars, Incorporated family of businesses dedicated to making the world more dog-friendly. The world’s greatest pet-friendly hotel is Hotel Fioreze Quero Quero in Brazil, which has almost two acres of open area for you and your furry best friend to enjoy.
The Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale is the number one pet-friendly hotel in the United States, with pets allowed on every level and in the outside garden sitting area so they can enjoy the Florida sunshine.

Sustainable: While hotels worldwide are working together to become more sustainable, hotels that are decreasing their environmental footprint in surprising ways are gaining traction with travellers.
