Turkish Airlines Offers TourIstanbul Services Between Connections

Voted Europe’s best airline, Turkish Airlines will highlight the  TourIstanbul service for passengers at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2014.

According to the news, ‘TourIstanbul’ complements Istanbul’s status as a remarkable destination with offers to passengers with six to 24 hours before their next connecting flight including touring the city via shuttle, luggage storage in the interim, and tour guides to make the experience all the more enjoyable. Senior Vice President of Media Relations, Turkish Airlines, Dr. Ali Genc, had this to add:

“Turkish Airlines is offering passengers the unique opportunity to discover the history, culture, and cuisine of one of the world’s most interesting cities, free-of-charge, in between two flights. We are delighted that this initiative offers our world-class services not only up in the skies but in the streets of Istanbul, allowing passengers to create lasting memories. ‘TourIstanbul’ underlines our commitment to ‘Widen Your World’.”

The novel service hopes to help passengers make the most of their journeys. As one example, ‘TourIstanbul’ enables passengers travelling from Dubai to Paris with a six-hour connection in Istanbul, to enjoy discovering the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and The Grand Bazaar.

All passengers with an international transit flight through Istanbul with Turkish Airlines and a layover between six to 24 hours, between 9am and 6pm can take part in the tour held daily from 9am to 6pm; 9am to 3pm; and 12pm to 6pm. Passengers must arrive 30 minutes before beginning of the tour.
