The Catalonian capital of Barcelona might as well be considered Europe’s capital of art. Artists like Joan Miró, Antoni Gaudí, Lluís Domènech i Montaner, Salvador Dalí are just a few of the big names – strong representatives from Catalonia. Born in Málaga, Pablo Picasso has also resided in Barcelona for a while – reason why, there is a rich Picasso Museum established in Barcelona. Take your time and visit the main art-related attractions, Barcelona has plenty to offer. It would be a shame to leave the experience out, after all – Barcelona is an art paradise, as independent travel blogger, Escape Hunter says. If your stay is a short one, e.g. 3-5 days, then make sure you visit the top buildings by Gaudí, the Dalí Museum in the Gothic Quarter and perhaps the Joan Miró museum, if enough time is left… ideally, the Catalan National Museum of Arts shouldn’t be left out. It is one of the biggest art museums in Spain with an impressively rich collection.
