Garden Festival 2012: Sunshine Party In Croatia

Taking place between 4 and 11 July in the charming town of Tisno, The Garden Festival kicks off party season in Croatia with an entire week of music, revelries, sunshine and famous artists.

With a brand new venue overlooking the beautiful Adriatic, an outdoor club for after parties, live bands, top DJs, two boat parties for each day and two scenes especially arranged for artists such as: Nicolas Jaar, Solomun, Tiger & Woods, Dyed Soundroom, Maxxi Soundsystem, Eats Everything or Pillowtalk, this year’s edition of The Garden Festival promises to exceed any previous expectation.

The festival’s main scene will be placed in the city’s center surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops and potential accommodations to choose from, while the other stage will be settled right on the beach, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the sparkling Adriatic waves along with an excellent background music.

Additionally, the spacious, open-air Barbarella’s Discoteque will host a party each night, providing Gardeners the chance to dance until dawn, at liberty under the stars. Organized parties include: We Love, Futuredisco, Get Deep, Faith, The Pool, Crazy P v El Diablos, RA, International Feel v Golf Channel, Dollop and Leftfoot.

Blessed with a dock of its own, Tisno Bay will be the starting point of any off-shore party held at the festival, ensuring boarders a voyage of fun, first-rate music and spectacular views during the legendary Argonaughty boat parties.

Ideally located on the Dalmatian coast, half on the island of Murter and half on the mainland, Tisno can be easily reached from Zadar (45km) or Split (65km). The serene fishing village, with its medieval charm, secluded beaches and lovely parks comes to life this summer, providing a magical setting for the upcoming festivals.

Croatia Garden Festival 2012 will be only the opening of an outstanding summer of fiestas in Croatia, as the scenic Garden Tisno will never lose its vibe until August. Other events in the venue include: Electric Elephant (12th-16th July), Soundwave (19th-23rd July), Suncebeat (27th-29th July) and Stop Making Sense (2nd-6th August).
