Sun Plaza Mall was built at a cost of some €200 million in investment made by the first Austrian real estate investment company, Sparkassen Immobilien AG in combination with the Romanian developer, EMTC. Together, they created the largest shopping experience in Bucharest, with a total area of 210,000 square meters of which 81,000 are leasable. Over this huge airy space are spread some 130 shops, restaurants and fun-zones, which offer a great time for customers.

Shopping

For Romanians, shopping has many varied implications. Whether it’s for relaxation, therapy, as entertainment, work, or even a passion sport (it’s not easy to run all day long between the shelves until your feet hurt and try on so many clothes, without taking a break),  shopping in Romania is far more than a fashionable trend, or a fashion hunt. The truth is, Romanians love the shopping rush and we love to buy things!

Sun Plaza Mall provides, beside the great range of clothing stores, a Cora hypermarket, DIY store BauMax, Mobexpert- the largest furniture and accessories distributor in Romania and the renowned Romanian importer and distributor of home appliances, Flanco.

Beyond all the practicality, Sun Plaza Mall is primarily the shopaholics’ heaven, an excellent outlet dedicated to the international brands- Marks and Spencer, Levi’s, Adidas, Hervis, Mango, Sprider Stores, Koton, Diverta(a unique Romanian concept of media products), Humanic, Deichman, Pimkie, Motivi, Promod, Orsay, C&A, New Yorker,  Dobenhams, H&M, Otter, Samsonite, PNK Casual, Desigual, and Nine West.

Considering value for money, the masterpiece of Sun Plaza Mall is the Spanish section which includes: Zara, Stradivarius, Pull&Bear and Bershka, all part of Inditex Group.

For beauty, skin care, makeup, hair and fragrance, Sephora, Yves Rocher and Douglas are offering everything you may need from established luxury marques to affordable products. If you are looking for a gift or accessories in order to complete your outfit, Accessorize, Meli Melo, B&B Collection and Parfois are ready to make available for you the latest trends.

Entertainment

The entertainment area of the commercial center is more than impressive, with the Cinema City multiplex covering 15 theaters and more than 3,000 seats, the Oxygen Club (for bowling and pool game) occupying 2,000 square meters, the Game World casino, a pub and numerous cafés – locals or internationals, including the famous Starbucks and the French bakery-café, Brioche Doree.

Food

For a Saturday with kids or a girls’ hangout, Sun Plaza Mall provides a very spacious and diverse food court area. The most appreciated restaurants and fast-foods are: Wienerwald, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, Cinnabon, KFC, Mezzo di Pasta and of course, Rustic restaurant, where you can serve tasty Romanian traditional food. For the most demanding customers, Sun Plaza suggests the Golden Works restaurant (delicious Chinese food), B-Back Lebanese Food or Jumbo Food for its Vietnamese flavor.

Placed on two main levels, Sun Plaza Mall is an all-inclusive Shopping destination, an opportunity for fun and a place where you can relax. The lighting interior sprinkled with elegant public spaces, greenery and water, creates a modern space where the beauty and the utility are perfectly combined.
