Music and Serenades to Fill Agios Nikolaos Streets on September 22

The streets of Agios Nikolaos will come alive with traditional music and serenades on September 22 as the municipality marks World Tourism Day with a musical event.

The Municipality of Agios Nikolaos Tourism Department is organizing a traditional kantada, inviting musicians and singers to take part in an evening celebrating local music, culture and hospitality.

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in Agios Nikolaos. Musicians who play the laouto, violin or mandolin, as well as singers interested in participating, are invited to join the group.

The municipality said the event aims to bring music into the city’s streets and offer residents and visitors an evening showcasing the area’s musical traditions and cultural character.

Those wishing to participate are asked to confirm their participation by Thursday, September 10, 2026.
