Scream Out to Celebrate Norway’s Best, “The Scream”

Visit Norway is creating the longest “scream” on our planet to honor the anniversary of Edvard Munch’s birth, the painter of the famous “Scream” painting.

Visit Norway Scream campaign

2013 marks 150 years since the birth of legendary painter Edvard Munch’s birth. To honor him and his country, Visit Norway will release a film, depicting the modern “Scream” experience in Norway.

To inspire the people of the world to celebrate, Visit Norway wants everyone to create the longest scream in the world. To make their film segment to become longer and stronger, they ask others from around the world to join in and show their positive screaming moments in their lives.  Screams shared with Visit Norway will be added to the first, and original film.

Of all the screams submitted to the organizers, a winner will be picked from these every week to visit the original scream painting there in Norway. To submit your scream, visit this website. To see how the “screams” are progressing, you can also head straight over and record yours. Readers can also check out Visit Norway via their Facebook.

As you’ll see, submitting your own scream is fun. We are working on ours now.
