Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa is now the first officially certified “Boutique Hotel” in Greece, based on the demanding standards of the “Boutique Hotel” classification inaugurated by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.
The designation as a “Boutique Hotel” was preceded by the recognition of the special architectural and decorative design concept of Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa. The determination was made by a Special Group of Advisors of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels by validating the upgraded services that the hotel offers. This validating process was fascilitated via an authorized inspection & control third-party.
Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa has managed to distinguish itself and stand out for its strong character afer only two years in operation. By harmoniously combining different periods of traditional Cycladic architecture with modern and sophisticated decoration, a unique journey in time is offered to its guests. The newly built, 5* Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa, located at the village of Oia in Santorini opened its doors in 2016 as the newest addition to the portfolio of Metaxas Group of Companies, which has been operating in tourism sector since 1975. About the “Boutique Hotel” certification:
The “Boutique Hotel” classification is the new initiative of the Greek Chamber of Commerce for the recognition, certification and promotion of highly diversified, small hotels, which have invested in offering a unique stay experience. The Certification is granted after two control phases to 3* to 5* hotels, with a capacity of less than 60 rooms, which are characterized by a special architectural and decorative design concept and offer innovative facilities and services.
