Ryanair Issues Ice Bucket Challenge to Industry

Ryanair, Europe’s leading budget airline, called out CEOs of IAG (Willie Walsh), Air France (Alexandre de Juniac), and Lufthansa (Carsten Spohr) to take the ice bucket challenge. Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary literally overdid the ice bucket event in Dublin  on Thursday, much to the delight of 200 employees of his airline.

O’Leary, no stranger to poking the big airlines in the eyeballs, put his immune his machismo where his mouth was in taunting other CEOs.  Check out the video below of the Ryanair boss raising money for his company’s own Jack & Jill Foundation. O’Leary also offered this statement:

“I’d like to curse Patrick Kennedy of Paddy Power for my nomination. I call on Willie Walsh (IAG), Alexandre de Juniac (Air France) and Carsten Spohr (Lufthansa) to now get wet for charity. If they can’t freeze their high fares, they can at least freeze themselves.”

Now there’s a fookin man’s man 4 ya!
