Russia Hotels to Double by 2018 Report Says

A report from KPMG; ‘International Hotel Operators in Russia’, tells of major hotel brands expanding to twice their current presence by the year 2018. Last year’s accelerated growth and the immediate future are discussed, as well as extended reach within the country.

The KPMG data shows that not only are key centers like Moscow and St. Petersburg targeted for expansive hotel growth, outlaying areas such as Sochi, via the upcoming Olympics, and Crimean Russia as a whole, are soon to be big hotel accommodation winners. The report highlights Sochi to bump capacity some 13% by itself. Hotel chains such as Rezidor, InterContinental, Marriott and Accor are spotlighted in the report available via Construction iQ’s new resource library here.
