Royal California Holiday Sweepstakes

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka Will and Kate, will make their first official U.S. appearance in California, visiting the state for three days: July 8-10, 2011. As a response to the Royal visit, the California Travel & Tourism Commission (CTTC) introduced a “Three Days Isn’t Enough” national television campaign, and sweepstakes giving away an eight day, seven night vacation for four, aboard Mauiva AirCruise. The Sweepstakes begun at 12:01 AM PT on June 27, 2011 and will end at 11:59 PM PT on July 15, 2011.

Winners of the “Three Days Isn’t Enough” competition will explore California by private plane, visiting Los Angeles, Monterey, Carmel, San Francisco and Yosemite.

Accommodation is provided at The W Hotel in Los Angeles; Hyatt Regency Monterey in Monterey; Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco (image above); and the Hilton Garden Inn Clovis in Fresno.

To participate, visit YahooShine on Faccebook, and enter to win a Royal California Holiday by telling Will and Kate why three days isn’t enough to visit California. The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States (except Florida) & D.C., 21 and older. Those who don’t qualify to enter the competition, may still find a number of special Royal Summer packages inspired by Will and Kate’s visit on the official Visit California website. There are many offers to fit every budget, running the gamut from budget-friendly to over-the-top luxury.

The TV campaign is inviting the royal couple and visitors across the country to explore the stunning scenery and enviable lifestyle found in California in more than three days...
